My son loves this book the best---2 Thumbs up July 23, 2008 GoldNER (FL. USA) 17 out of 21 found this review helpful
The T Rex reader book is a winner. My little boy sits for hours and plays with this book. The audio is well done.
Fantastic book, especially for dinosaur lovers! January 13, 2010 Amy Mcfarland (California) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My son received this book for Christmas, and he absolutely loves it! It's all about a little T-Rex and his mommy on a day built for roaring. After roaring all day, T-Rex's mommy goes out to find some food, but little T-Rex still wants to roar. He chases a dragonfly and ends up getting lost, so the book is all about his adventure trying to find his way home. The neat part about this book is the Tag system, with all of its neat sounds as your little one reads the book. As my son presses on each dinosaur with his Tag reader, it gives him fun facts about the dinosaur and even their sounds. It's really sparked his interest in dinosaurs. As I was putting him to bed last night he said "Mommy, did you know a T-Rex's legs were as big as a grown person??" It was adorable! We love our Tag reader, and this book is an excellent addition to my son's library!
Excellent selection........ December 29, 2008 LoriAnnR (Johnstown, PA) 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
My son received a TAG for his 5th birthday this year. He received quite a few TAG books from family members and this one is by far his favorite. He would sit for hours going through the pages, pressing the TAG pen to the words and the pictures to produce the audio. It's a great story line and if your child loved T-Rex, he or she will be very pleased with this book.
Another great tag reader January 23, 2009 Bobbi Linn Mcallister (Lillington, NC) So far my choices are winners for my 5 year old. I incorporate the tag reader in his home schooling for kindergarten. This is one of his favorites and the challenges are great. He cannot wait to get the rewards online. I do not use the tag reader as a replacement for him learning to read but a reward for his great efforts. It has been said that "leisure reading is the brain's secret weapon", I have found this to be true. If your child, more than likely a boy, shows signs of disinterest even though you have maintained your reading to them all their little life, then try fun things like "Discovery kids magazine, or puzzle buzz but more than anything tag reader and the wonderful books they have is the key to get it started. As I said in another review, we will be trying audio books as well.
Tag books are great! April 4, 2009 Alice Hurley (Kingsland, GA United States) I actually bought the Tag Reader for my 2 1/2 year old grandson for Christmas. He already loves to have books read to him and I wanted to continue that fascination. Of course his 6 year old sister loves the system also, so I had to get her her very own reader and case. Love the books. Need more. They are good for the younger and the older one. He learns the sounds and words and things and she can play the games at the different levels.
