Product Description Because he is slightly less hyperactive than his brother MUDFLAPâ¢*, AUTOBOT SKIDS has always thought of himself as âthe smart one.â He likes to point this out at every opportunity. While MUDFLAP zips around like a maniac, AUTOBOT SKIDS prefers to impress his superiors among the AUTOBOT® high command by behaving in a way he thinks of as mature, which usually involves talking nonstop about anything that occurs to him.
Team up with this faithful ally and get ready to take on DECEPTICON® forces! In robot mode, check out this no-nonsense warriorâs moving armor panels! And be ready to launch a power-packed attack with his punching fist! With a few twists and turns, change the robot figure to Beat⢠mode to show off a fun vehicle thatâs ready to flatten the competition!

A fun surprise June 18, 2009 Erik Martinez 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I wasn't interested in the characters of Skids and Muddflap at first. I watched a review on both these toys online, and they seemed to have enough poseability and interesting transformations to pick up. The vehicle mode looks very nice. It's a very nice painted green, while inner robot mode seems to be green plastic. Even that looks nice. Transforming him can be a little weird at first figuring out the right place to put everything. One thing I am noticing that Hasbro is doing more of is giving these figures tabs to help with placing all the parts correctily. Just know that you have to seperate the roof to fold the backpack correctly. It seems like it will break, but it's solid. He can stand fairly well with the help of the folded car sides that make his bottom legs. Robot mode looks like a good mold. I like that they even painted his buck teeth. The enlarged, articulated punching hand is kind of cool. I haven't noticed anything that would seem too fragile, so I think Skids is better suited for children than the other movie figures.
Good toy but really hard to transform June 30, 2009 J. Detering (Seattle, WA USA) 2 out of 5 found this review helpful
My 13 and 10 year old boys got these toys and we all found them very hard to transform. Both boys needed to go on You Tube to see a demonstration. Their dad, who is a builder, could not transform the toy without instructions. My 10 year old still can't transform Skids. My 13 year old can do it only by watching the You Tube video.
Not a good choice for 5 year old September 29, 2009 K. Hanson (Oakland, CA) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this for my son's 5th birthday because the age is listed as 5+. It is so hard to change it into the robot, I can't even figure it out with the instructions and I'm an engineer. Lots of frustration and disappointment for my 5 year old. Maybe for a 10 year old, but not for 5.
too difficult November 18, 2009 K. Bolouvi 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
This transformer, and most of the others, are just too difficult to play with. they are hard to transform. It took some intelligent adults looking at the diagram for 30 minutes just to transform it once. the pieces pop off easily and it will not last long. I would not recommend to anyone.
Flimsy Product January 7, 2010 Sherry R. Moody (Glennville GA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Ordered this product for a 4 year old. Believe he was too young to understand how to change from car to robot. Toy was broke the first day.
