This is the first set in my LEGO Atlantis collection. Not disappointed. Cool pieces. Not too expensive at $[...].

This Lego set frustrated my kids and I can see why. One of the pieces isn't the size depicted and therefore doesn't fit properly, though you can put the whole thing together by positioning it slightly differently. In the many Lego set constructions I've overseen in the last couple years, I've never had that happen! Also, I know Lego sets can fall apart when played with, but in most kits, most of the pieces are held in place in multiple points, making it a little harder. Not so with this one - the pieces kept falling apart as the kids put it together. They got it together, but my son just said disappointedly, "I think it's too fragile to play with." My kids are excited about the Atlantis line, so I'm hoping that the others are at least a little better designed.
